Local MOV 1080p at 24 FPS in Windows Media Player, 150 nits, auto-brightness disabled, Wi-Fi connected, all other settings default. Up to 20 hours. Store web footnote has invalid X2 Elite Plus wording, so web test scope is instead verified against the linked Microsoft battery-testing article, which explicitly names matching X2 Plus 16 GB/512 GB. No 15-inch X2 Elite claim inherited.10Maker product pagesupport.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/battery/surface-battery-testing-and-estimated-performanceRead 8 October 2026Surface Laptop (8th Edition) (Snapdragon), 13.8-inch web test explicitly up to 16 hours.
