Test: Cinebench R23 30-minute mode, Core Ultra 9 285K with the Intel Default Profile (PL1 250 W, PL2 250 W), NZXT Kraken 280 (2023) cooler. The review says average consumption in the test was about 230 W and names no sensor point for it. Ambient was 25.2 C on average and 25.6 C at peak. This is with the board's own VRM fan running, which is the default. With the fan stopped the highest reading was 68.4 C. The two other probes read 60.9 C and 59.6 C at the peak.
